How to Have a Respectful Conversation

This article from the Anti Defamation League is good.  Do keep in mind that the ADL is a political organization.  This doesn’t invalidate everything they publish, it does suggest reading more thoughtfully.  Look at what ADL says is it’s goal, use that to help you calibrate how you listen to them. Read other articles about de escalating conversations to help you see if this article has a bias you can detect.
Aka: don’t take my word for it.  Or, if you do, because you’ve vetted me a bit, at least keep in mind which filters are in effect; The article’s author, ADL, me, you.  How much bias do you bring to this reading? (At least some, most of us bring a lot)
